The Poppy Group uses a team of associate coordinators to execute our clients’ weddings. These coordinators are hand-selected by our founders, as talented event coordinators. Many of our associate coordinators come from corporate event planning backgrounds, bringing a high level of professionalism and extensive event experience to your wedding planning experience. After an initial phone call with one of our founders, we will pair clients with an associate coordinator that we feel will be a good fit for your wedding. You will have the opportunity to speak with your assigned coordinator prior to retaining The Poppy Group either via phone or in person.

Amy Nichols and Kate Whelan founded The Poppy Group in 2015 to serve clients specifically looking for an affordable and reliable Month-of Coordination solution. While many couples choose to do the majority of the wedding planning on their own, we believe it is essential that couples turn the reins over to a professional enabling them, their family & their guests to enjoy the wedding day. With their combined 15+ years in business in the Bay Area, Kate & Amy founded The Poppy Group to help clients streamline the month-of wedding coordination process, by pairing couples with Associate Coordinators who can finalize all of the details prior to the wedding day. Both Kate & Amy are regarded as industry experts, and are often quoted and featured in national publications and popular wedding blogs.
